HR Project Partners is currently accepting resumes for an Administrative Assistant on behalf of one of our Clients. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an administrative role.

This position is located in St. John’s, NL. The position is full-time, contract position until Dec 31, 2022.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsibilities

  • Complete onboarding tasks and service requests ensuring new hires have appropriate hardware, access and applications.
  • Assist with scheduling/coordination of internal and external meetings.
  • Act as HDMS super user for reserving document numbers, uploading documents and performing document searches.
  • Managing document flow between project teams and document control.
  • Ensure timely communication of required information to various stakeholders.
  • Tracking and managing sensitive communications between project teams and 3rd party contractors.
  • Assist in presentation/report preparation, formatting, and distribution.
  • Create/revise requisitions in SAP.
  • Assist with travel coordination as necessary.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

  • This role is responsible for providing support to the Major Projects team, specifically the Asset Life Extension and Operations Readiness teams.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Certificate in Business Administration or Office Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an administrative role.
  • Demonstrated experience in SAP.
  • Previous experience in the oil and gas industry.

Knowledge, Skills, & Attributes:

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little direction and/or within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to forecast, analyze and work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
