Job Description:
HR Project Partners is currently accepting resumes for a Customer Service Representative on behalf of one of our clients. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years experience of solid customer service.
This is a full-time, permanent-based position located in Labrador City, NL.
Essential Job Functions:
- This position acts as the in-house liaison with the customer. This position is responsible to perform all necessary functions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Primary activities include evaluation of customer inquiries and compatibility with company parts and services, coordination of an appropriate quotation considering price/margin/delivery, proposal follow up, support of outside sales efforts, sales order entry, order coordination, and order backlog management of orders until completion.
- Demonstrates dependability and punctuality.
- Observes safety regulations and exhibits a concern for safety.
- Provides prompt, courteous, and efficient service that exceeds customer expectations.
- Processes RFQs and customer orders in SAP accurately and within the required guidelines.
- Responds to parts and service inquiries in a full-service environment to resolve simple to moderately complex issues.
- Proactively updates customers on the status of their orders and requests.
- Prioritizes customer breakdown and shut down orders as appropriate.
- Assists and works together with the sales team.
- Manages open orders actively.
- Maintains good long-term customer relations by understanding and servicing customer’s needs and commitments.
- Assists customer service manager with system maintenance and special projects as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience of solid customer service
- SalesForce knowledge.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Attributes:
- Proficiency in working with SAP.
- Strong MS Office skills specifically Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills--bilingual French/English.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional administrative, communication, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team(s)
- High attention to detail and able to maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to changing situations quickly.
