Job Description:

HR Project Partners is currently accepting resumes for a General Laborer on behalf of one of our clients. The ideal candidate would have 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

This position is in Labrador City, NL. The duration of this position will be until the end of May, 2023.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist with carrying laundry, groceries, and garbage removal, as needed; and
• Light cleaning duties as required;
• Customer service; and
• Ensure safe work practices and adhere to company policy and procedures.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent;
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
• Demonstrated understanding of basic HS&E principles;
• Ability to provide a clear background check; and
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, climbing stairs, lifting heavy loads up to 50 to 60 pounds, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills, & Attributes:

• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong work ethic;
• Ability to work flexible hours;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to work independently with little direction and/or within a team environment;
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to forecast, analyze and work under pressure; and
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
