JOB DESCRIPTION:
HR Project Partners is currently accepting resumes for a Scheduler/Planner on behalf of one of our Clients. The ideal applicant would have mobile mining experience.

This position is located in Labrador. Duration of the contract is 18-24 months with possibility of extension. Relocation is required for non-locals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with maintenance, engineering, procurement, and operations personnel to set maintenance priorities and resolve execution issues;
• Coordinate with the Procurement Department to ensure all required spares, material, and service contracts are in place to execute the work order scope;
• Develop weekly maintenance plans based upon:
o Integrated plan and strategy;
o Asset tactics;
o Working Identification Process; and
o Asset health notifications.
• Execute continuous improvement projects that improve the delivery of the team’s key outputs and improve implementation of the work management process;
• Co-ordination with the area maintenance and operations team;
• Updating SAP system with latest/greatest info, go in the field a little, plan/prepare, etc.
• Will oversee 4 assets/pieces of equipment (plan and schedule) – 3 LeTourneau loaders, 1 Hitachi Excavator
• Additional duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• A Mechanical Engineering Degree, Technical Diploma and/or equivalent experience;
• 5 or more years of maintenance planning experience, specifically related to mobile mining equipment;
• Experience working in an industrial setting;
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work independently with little direction;
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to forecast, analyze and work under pressure;
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities; and
• Proficient in SAP, CMMS, Microsoft Excel, Primavera
• Ability to wear a full face/half mask respirator (if required); and
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test (if necessary).
