HR Project Partners is currently accepting resumes for a Warranty Administrator on behalf of one of our clients. The ideal candidate would have previously worked in the Automotive industry, and experience processing warranty, maintenance, and retail workorders.

This is a full-time permanent position, located in St. John’s, NL.

This position offers an attractive compensation package to be negotiated based on experience, including a group benefits plan.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Processing warranty, maintenance, and retail workorders;
  • Invoicing and batch warranty submission;
  • Interpreting technician comments to translate into warranty claim invoice, posting charges and closing workorders;
  • Monthly account reconciliation;
  • General overseeing of the warranty department; and
  • Other duties as required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Administration and/or other relevant field;
  • Must have a minimum of 3+ years in a Warranty Administration capacity;
  • Strong Mechanical knowledge required;
  • Basic accounting knowledge (i.e., journal sheet completion, warr receivable account reconciliation);
  • Previous experience working in the Automotive industry;
  • Ability to deal with objections and appeals when necessary;
  • Creative thought to assist with technician notes when necessary;
  • Previous experience using CDK Global software; and
  • Ford training considered a strong asset.

Knowledge, Skills, & Attributes:

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently with little direction and/or within a team environment;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to forecast, analyze and work under pressure;
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities; and
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
