HR Project Partners is currently accepting resumes for a Warranty Administrator on behalf of one of our clients. The ideal candidate would have previously worked in the Automotive industry, and experience processing warranty, maintenance, and retail workorders.
This is a full-time permanent position, located in St. John’s, NL.
This position offers an attractive compensation package to be negotiated based on experience, including a group benefits plan.
Essential Job Functions:
- Processing warranty, maintenance, and retail workorders;
- Invoicing and batch warranty submission;
- Interpreting technician comments to translate into warranty claim invoice, posting charges and closing workorders;
- Monthly account reconciliation;
- General overseeing of the warranty department; and
- Other duties as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Administration and/or other relevant field;
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years in a Warranty Administration capacity;
- Strong Mechanical knowledge required;
- Basic accounting knowledge (i.e., journal sheet completion, warr receivable account reconciliation);
- Previous experience working in the Automotive industry;
- Ability to deal with objections and appeals when necessary;
- Creative thought to assist with technician notes when necessary;
- Previous experience using CDK Global software; and
- Ford training considered a strong asset.
Knowledge, Skills, & Attributes:
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work independently with little direction and/or within a team environment;
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to forecast, analyze and work under pressure;
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities; and
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
