Jacqui Bailey, the President of HR Project Partners, brings a wealth of expertise and accomplishments to her role. With a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Psychology from Memorial University, along with a master’s Certificate in Project Management, Jacqui has a solid educational foundation.

Her accolades include being honored as the “2019 Entrepreneur of the Year Award – Momentum” by NLOWE, named a “Top 50 CEO” in 2020 by the Atlantic Business Magazine, and the recipient of the 2022 RBC Momentum Award. Furthermore, she’s an active member of the Newfoundland & Labrador College Of Social Workers and a Board Member with the NLOWE (Newfoundland And Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs).

Jacqui’s commitment to ethical standards and professionalism is evident in all aspects of her work. With over 30 years of experience, she has honed her skills in diverse fields such as Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Project Coordination, and Stakeholder Engagement, among others. Her professional journey has taken her through heavy industrial environments, mining, construction, oil and gas, and non-profit organizations, as well as involvement in EPCM projects and corporate settings.

In her role as President of HRPP, Jacqui continues to demonstrate her dedication as a senior professional, leveraging her extensive experience to drive success and make a positive impact in various sectors.

Janessa is a dynamic leader with a passion for operations management and human resources. With over a decade of experience in various industries, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to HRPP.

Graduating from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2014, she has been involved in large- and small-scale projects and consulting for private firms. Her experience includes working to support heavy industrial, mining, construction, private and oil and gas. Janessa embarked on a journey marked by dedication and continuous growth. Her career has been defined by her ability to navigate complex organizational challenges, optimize operational processes, and champion employee development initiatives.

In 2020, Janessa obtained her Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation and has completed certification programs such as Train the Trainer for Everything DiSC® further solidifying her commitment to excellence and professional development.

As a leader, Janessa inspires others with her integrity, compassion, and unwavering determination to make a difference.

AMY McCARTHY

As the Manager of Human Resources and Consulting at HR Project Partners Inc., Amy leads a team of HR professionals who provide tailored and innovative solutions to clients across various industries, such as telecommunications, public sector, non-profit, and marine and mining logistics. With over 17 years of experience in the field of human resources, Amy has developed a strong reputation for delivering high-quality results and exceeding expectations.

Her core competencies include HR and project management, policy and procedure development, auditing, report writing, coaching, recruitment, workplace and harassment investigations, organizational reviews and development, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, and occupational health and safety. Amy holds the Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) designation from the Institute of Professional Management (IPM), the IPMA-Advanced Human Resources Certified Professional designation (IPMA-ACP) and is certified in mental health and wellness for the workplace by St. John Ambulance Canada. She is also a Certified Facilitator in the Connections Leadership Journey with The Learning Edge, an award-winning Canadian program and institute, as well as a Trainer for the Everything DiSC® (A Wiley Brand) Product, helping to build better relationships in the workplace.

Dylan Miles serves as the Recruitment Manager at HR Project Partners, where his expertise in Human Resources shines through in his adept management of recruitment operations. With a solid background in full-cycle recruitment across a spectrum of industries including Mining, Construction, and Marine, Dylan brings a wealth of experience to his role. Beyond team management, Dylan’s leadership extends to active engagement with both clients and candidates, ensuring their requirements are met with utmost professionalism and efficiency.

Backed by a Diploma in Business Management with a specialization in Human Resources from the College of the North Atlantic, Dylan’s pursuit of knowledge continues with his ongoing Bachelor of Business Administration studies at Memorial University. Complimenting his formal education, Dylan holds several certifications including the Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) designation and has completed specialized programs such as the Train the Trainer for Everything DiSC®. This unwavering commitment to professional growth underscores his dedication to remaining abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends.

TRACY RUSSELL

TRACY RUSSELL

COST AND ACCOUNTING LEAD

Tracy graduated from Algonquin College with a diploma in Office Administration – Executive. She is a member of the Canadian Payroll Association and is certified as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner. Since completing the Office Administration – Executive Program Tracy has expanded her experience and knowledge in the accounting field with a strong focus in Payroll and Cost Control. She has completed multiple courses and programs including those in Advanced Excel and Supervisory Training.

Tracy has over 9 years’ experience in Accounting and Payroll with experience in various accounting programs such as QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, Avionte, and DRMIS. Her working experience includes working for the Department of National Defence and various small businesses in Ontario, where she provided Administration and Accounting support. 

Tracy started at HRPP in January 2019 as an Accounting Administrator, where she provided all functions of Accounting, Payroll, Cost Control, and other administrative supports to the team. Since early 2020, Tracy has been promoted to a Cost and Accounting Lead position. Her dedication and passion for accounting and helping others shines through in her ability to effectively communicate and assist both employees and clients.

Recruiter

John has more than 20 years of experience within corporate HR and 3rd party recruitment. He has honed his skills in the areas of Payroll and Benefits as well as acting HR Generalist and Corporate Recruiter, Staffing Executive, also serving in management, technical, and non-technical positions. Within 3rd party recruitment he has held positions of Senior Technical Recruiter and Branch Manager for a Canadian-owned national recruitment company, leading and staffing roles within Telecom, IoT, IIoT, R&D, Web Services, and Software Development.

Recently, John has staffed various engineering and technical positions within mining and oil and gas. Filling vacancies throughout Canada, he has significant experience staffing local, regional, national, and foreign national candidates.

John plays drums and writes lyrics. As a member of SOCAN, he co-wrote, recorded, and sold a song in aid of charities in Atlantic Canada. He and his band “Karen Fougere and Needham Hill” released an album titled “Shadows Within”.

Bilingual Recruiter

Chantal graduated from NBCC Moncton, NB as a Human Resource Manager, specializing in Recruitment. She will complete her Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) with the IPM Management Training and Development Corporation in 2023.

Chantal’s experience includes full-cycle recruitment, working with various industries such as Mining as well as Oil and Gas. She excels in Recruitment, onboarding, and personal management.

Chantal joined HRPP in 2022 as a Bilingual Recruiter and enjoys helping candidates find the right job. She is dedicated serving HRPP clients and her passion for Recruitment makes her an asset to all of our clients.

Suzanne Scott

HR Coordinator

Suzanne graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.  She has also completed various certificate programs in Business Administration and Criminology and has achieved a variety of certificates and training in the field of Human Resources Management.  Some areas of focus are Full Cycle Recruitment and Retention, Employee Relations, Compensation/Benefit Reviews, Policy Development, as well as Training and Development.  Suzanne is always looking for innovative ways to improve the current model.

Attentive to details, processes and most importantly, to people, Suzanne is an experienced HR Professional with over 15 years’ experience working in non-profits, private and public sector organizations and she is passionate about building relationships with others and creating processes to enhance strategic business outcomes.

Accounting Administrator (Billing)

Lori-Ann comes to HRPP with 16 years of Administrative and Accounting experience. She has fulfilled two placements with HRPP, as a contractor, and in February of 2022 she secured an internal position as Payroll and Accounting Administrator and couldn’t be happier about it.

Lori-Ann places honesty and integrity high on her list of priorities and aims to adhere to this in both her work and her personal life.  She grew up on the scenic West Coast of Newfoundland and when not working she can be found enjoying it with her family and friends.

Lori-Ann aspires to gain more knowledge, learn, grow, and be a dedicated and precise Payroll and Accounting Administrator as she supports the dynamic and growing team at HR Project Partners.

Heidi Trickett

Accounting Administrator (Payroll)

Heidi graduated from the College of the North Atlantic (CNA) with a Business Management (Accounting) Diploma and is working toward a Bachelor of Business Administration through Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Heidi joined HRPP as a full-time employee in September 2022. She brings passion to her work as an Accounting Administrator and as an employee of HRPP, which complements her personal values and allows her to grow in the field of accounting.

Heidi is excited to use her knowledge, experience, and work collaboratively with HR Project Partner’s team to focus on our client’s needs and requests.

Noah is a graduate from the College of the North Atlantic with a diploma in Business Management (Human Resource Management). Noah currently works as a Junior Recruiter with HRPP, in this position he administers full-cycle recruitment, and is excited for the new opportunities and challenges that arise with this role. 

Noah has 1.5 years of experience in recruitment, he specializes in full-cycle recruitment and has provided staffing services to many local operators within Newfoundland and Labrador. Noah has held positions such as Recruitment Administrator and Junior Recruitment Advisor and has experience recruiting for candidates in the fields of Mining, as well as Oil and Gas.

In his personal time, Noah enjoys following and participating in various action sports such as Snowboarding and Mountain Biking. Noah enjoys listening to music, attending live concerts, playing the drums, video games, and spending time with family and friends.

Rebecca graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in May 2023. As a recent graduate, Rebecca is eager to gain valuable experience and grow her knowledge in the field of Human Resources.

Rebecca is excited for the new opportunities and challenges that come with her new HR role. Her focus in this role is to provide great client service and support to her fellow colleagues in recruitment, onboarding, and employment relations.

In her personal time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping, and cooking.

With a diploma in Executive Office Administration from the College of the North Atlantic and over 13 years of executive-level administrative expertise, Kayla excels in delivering exceptional service across diverse industries. With a robust background spanning payroll, emergency services, and administration, Kayla has demonstrated her proficiency in both public and private sectors including healthcare, justice, banking, and mining.

During 2023, Kayla played a pivotal role in supporting our client’s mining operations, showcasing her capability, which led to her recent promotion to Operations Lead. In this new capacity, Kayla will oversee daily operations at the Labrador City office and spearhead onboarding initiatives for our company in the region. Her enthusiasm to leverage her expertise in collaboration with our team and new hires features her commitment to excellence.
